Overlapping Seasons Kodiak Combos
April, May, June, and July are the months for giant King Salmon and Halibut.
Fish Monday-Friday 3rd annual king salmon tournament starts May 15th-July 5th 2009
August and September King and Silver Salmon, Ling cod, Halibut, Rockfish and Sitka Blacktail deer. Deer season opens on August 1st.

October Duck season opens. Still a chance for Kings, Halibut, Rockfish and Ling cod in the ocean. Silver salmon are in streams and still bright. Great month for bow hunting and fly fishing. Bucks are going into rut!
November usually the month for rifle hunters. Seaducks start to show up in the Bays. Halibut and Rockfish are still in the Bay. Full rut for the black-tails!
December and January are reserved for king eider hunters but the first week in December is for last minute deer hunters. Halibut can be found in deeper water in December as with cod in January.
